This year, France was “Guest of Honor” and there was a special program entitled “Francfort en Français” : “Frankfurt in French” that went along with it countrywide. More information about “Francfort en Français” at http://www.francfort2017.com/.
During the Messe Frankfurt Book Fair 2017, I met the warm-hearted writer Martin Graff who presented to me his book “Der lutherische Urknall, Die Franzosen und die Deutschen” published by Morstadt. Mr. Martin Graff is both fluent in French and German.
I also had the chance during the Messe Frankfurt Book Fair 2017 to meet with Nathalie Alliel who is in charge of “Droits dérivés et annexes / Droits audiovisuels” for the publishing company ACTES SUD from Arles in France.
Nathalie Alliel recommended and presented to me the following books from ACTES SUD:

At the Messe Frankfurt Book Fair 2017, I also met with Samar Sammour who is Client Service Manager for Masar Printing and Publishing. Sammar Sammour who presented to me the Book : “Interpretation of the Meanings of THE NOBLE QUR’ÂN”.
At the Messe Frankfurt Book Fair 2017, I also came across Dr. Dirk F. Paßmann who is the Director of Aschendorff Verlag. Dr. Dirk F. Paßmann who presented to me the book : ORIGENES IN FRANKREICH Die Origeniana Pierre-Daniel Huets.
At the Messe Frankfurt Book Fair 2017 were also to be seen :
The firm UGEARS that presented “self-propelled mechanical wooden models”. Anna Alekseeva is Export Manager for UGEARS.
The Société Internationale de Diffusion et d’Édition that is more than a helping hand in exporting French books abroad. Ali Dahmane is Export Department Manager for Société Internationale de Diffusion et d’Édition.

788 literary agents and 321 literary agencies from 30 countries were present at the Messe Frankfurt Book Fair 2017
180 French-speaking authors were present at the Messe Frankfurt Book Fair 2017 for the program “Francfort en Français” as France was “Guest of Honor” of the Messe Frankfurt Book Fair 2017.
The Messe Frankfurt Book Fair 2018 will be held between October 10th, and October 14th, 2018.
