Heimtextil 2013 Messe Frankfurt : (English)

From January 9^th to January 12^th took place at the Messe Frankfurt, the Heimtextil trade fair, and yes, I was there to share with you my take on the event.

2 658 exhibitors from 62 countries were present at the Heimtextil trade fair 2013 and 66 000 visitors from 129 countries made their way to the trade fair according to the Messe Frankfurt management.

The visitors came mainly from Germany, Italy, China, Turkey, Great-Britain, USA, France, Spain, The Russian Federation and Poland.

Among the firms present at the Heimtextil 2013, the French firm PRONEEM making use of the Neem extract to free in an ecological manner our bed linen from dust mites.

The Neem tree is well known in India, Burma, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Pakistan, (…), because of its medicinal virtues.

I was struck by the magnificent fabrics and curtains of the Egyptian firm VANTEX from Cairo in Egypt.

I enjoyed as well the colorful plaids and blankets of the German firm Steinbeck GmbH from Memmimgen in Germany.

I came across some newspapers as well, Home Textiles Today Global and Fabrics and furnishings International.

The Heimtextil 2014 will take place at the Messe Frankfurt in Germany between January 8^th and January 11^th.
