TEDDY CRISPIN

In 1989, Teddy Crispin was awarded the "Media Award in Your Country" by the International Network of Young Journalists of the International Union of the Catholic Press, in Bavaria in Germany.

"My name is Teddy Crispin, as we all know, Teddy comes from the Greek "Theodoros" which means "A Gift from God", and Crispin is the name of the Patron Saints of shoemakers and leather workers: Saint Crispin and Saint Crispinian.

So I was blessed from birth, with a beautiful and meaningful name, like every Teddy and Theodore and Crispin around the world.

As far as I remember, I was surrounded by books and education, my aunt Françoise was a school director, and during my vacational stay with her in the countryside, I came across all the new school books that she had, and realizing today, how blessed I was, to have been living in such a blessed environment, that built the man that I am today.

As for writing and reading, I have always loved to read and write, my home was filled with books for us, that way, I came across Albertine Sarrazin's "L'Astragale", Albert Camus' "L'Etranger", Agatha Christie's "Ten Little Niggers", Franz Fanon's "Peau Noire, Masques Blancs", Daphne du Maurier's "We'll Never Be Young Again", ...

So, a special thank you to all those who contributed to what I am today. During my adolescence, I was fascinated by the poetry of Saint-John Perse.

In 1985, Teddy Crispin was present at the "Forum of Young Creators" in the "Poetry" category, an event organized by the French Information and Documentation Center for Youth: CIDJ.

In 1988, Teddy Crispin was in the French Army where I was an "Opérateur Centraliste", and even ended up with the accolade of First Class Soldier.

In 1989, Teddy Crispin was awarded the "Media Award in Your Country" by the International Network of Young Journalists of the International Union of the Catholic Press, in Bavaria in Germany.

Meeting all those young people and young catholic journalists there, from all over the world, is a high point of Teddy Crispin's life, he will never forget."

Teddy Crispin est "Prix Media 1989 Dans Votre Pays (France)", du Réseau International des Jeunes Journalistes de l'Union Internationale de la Presse Catholique.

Il paraît que le nom que l’on porte renseigne énormément sur le récipiendaire de ce dernier. Pour moi, mon prénom c’est Teddy, et la signification de ce prénom, je veux bien la partager avec vous, et par là-même, avec les millions de Teddy à travers le monde.

Teddy vient du Grec “Theodoros” qui signifie “ Un Présent venant de Dieu ».

Le nom Crispin, qui est un nom et un prénom très répandus à travers le monde, vient des Saints Patrons des cordonniers et des travailleurs du cuir : Saint Crispin et Saint Crispinian, ..., sans oublier le populaire "Saint Joyeux" : Saint Crispin de Viterbe (1668-1750).

Les vertus des Saints Crispin : le courage et la résilience.

J’ai eu donc la chance, dès la naissance, de porter un beau prénom, et un nom également signifiant, comme tous les Teddy et Theodore, et Crispin, à travers le monde.

Du plus loin qu’il m’en souvienne, j’étais entouré de livres, ma tante Françoise était directrice d’école, et pendant mes vacances estivales chez elle à la campagne, j’allais à la rencontre des tous derniers livres d’écoliers qu’elle possédait. Réalisant aujourd’hui, tout ce que les fées ont pu apporter à mon berceau.

Quant à l’écriture et à la lecture, j’ai toujours aimé ces deux géants. J'ai vécu une enfance pleine de livres, et de cette façon, je rencontrai “L’Astragale” d’Albertine Sarrazin, “L’Etranger” d’Albert Camus, « Les Dix Petits Nègres » d’Agatha Christie, “Peau Noire, Masques Blancs” de Franz Fanon, “We’ll Never Be Young Again” de Daphne du Maurier, ...

Pendant mon adolescence, j’ai eu une passion pour la poésie de Saint-John Perse. Donc, un remerciement tout spécial, à tous ceux qui ont contribué à faire de moi, l’homme que je suis aujourd’hui.

En 1985, Teddy Crispin était présent au “Forum des Jeunes qui Créent” dans la section “Poésie », un évènement organisé par le Centre d’Information et de Documentation de la Jeunesse : CIDJ, et la Direction Départementale de la Jeunesse et des Sports.

En 1988, Teddy Crispin faisait son service militaire en tant qu’Opérateur Centraliste, recevant également la distinction de Soldat de Première Classe.

"J’ai beaucoup aimé faire mon service militaire, où j’ai beaucoup appris, et également sur moi-même."

En 1989, Teddy Crispin reçoit du Réseau International des Jeunes Journalistes de l’Union Internationale de la Presse Catholique, en Bavière, en Allemagne, le “Prix Media dans votre Pays” pour la France, pour "Excellence en Communication, et pour la Connaissance Media de son Pays".

"Rencontrer tous ces journalistes catholiques du monde entier, de moins de 36 ans, fut une expérience inoubliable."

Le Réseau International de Jeunes Journalistes de l’Union Internationale de la Presse Catholique regroupait plus de 400 Journalistes professionnels venant de 63 pays.

Et je suis profondément heureux, aujourd’hui, de partager avec vous, ma bibliographie, distribuée internationalement par Amazon.

Teddy Crispin : Dix Petits Poèmes and More : Paperback / Kindle Book (Amazon)

“My name is Teddy Crispin, as we all know, Teddy comes from the Greek “Theodoros” which means “A Gift from God”, and Crispin is the name of the Patron Saints of shoemakers and leather workers: Saint Crispin and Saint Crispinian.

So I was blessed from birth, with a beautiful and meaningful name, like every Teddy and Theodore and Crispin around the world.

As far as I remember, I was surrounded by books and education, my aunt Françoise was a school director, and during my vocational stay with her in the countryside, I came across all the new school books that she had, and realizing today, how blessed I am, to have been living in such a blessed environment, that built the man that I am today.

As for writing and reading, I have always loved to read and write, my mom had the house filled with books for us, that way, I came across Albertine Sarrazin’s “L’Astragale”, Albert Camus’ “L’Etranger”, Agatha Christie’s “Ten Little Niggers”, Franz Fanon’s “Peau Noire, Masques Blancs”, Daphne du Maurier’s “We’ll Never Be Young Again”, ...

So, a special thank you to all those who contributed to what I am today. During my adolescence, I was fascinated by the poetry of Saint-John Perse.

In 1985, I was present at the “Forum of Young Creators” in the “Poetry” category, an event organized by the French Information and Documentation Center for Youth: CIDJ.

In 1988, I was in the French Army where I was an “Opérateur Centraliste”, and I even ended up with the accolade of First Class Soldier. And you know, I really enjoyed my one year duty in the French Army, I learned so much about myself.

In 1989, for an interview of a filmmaker from The Festival of French-Speaking films, I was awarded the “Media Award in Your Country” by the International Union of Young Journalists of the Catholic Press, in Bavaria in Germany. Meeting all those young people there from all over the world, is a high point of my life, I will never forget.

Today I am a performing artist for advertising, film, television…, and a business reviewer of trade fairs with my own blog.

And I am pleased to share with you this delicate bilingual (French/English) little book, DIX PETITS POEMES AND MORE distributed by Kindle Publishing (Amazon), ten little poems on love, faith, nature, Lady Diana (1961-1997), Haiku-like poetry and beautiful quotes that will capture your imagination.”

In 1985 habe ich in der Kategorie “Poesie” am “Forum Junger Künstler” teilgenommen, ein Event, das vom französischen Informations- und Dokumentations-Zentrum für Jugendliche (CIDJ) organisiert wurde.

In 1989 wurde mir für meine journalistischen Tätigkeiten der Preis “Media Award In Your Country” vom „Internationalen Verband junger Journalisten der katholischen Presse“ verliehen.

Heute ist es mir eine Ehre, der Welt mein Buch „DIX PETITS POEMES AND MORE“, veröffentlicht bei Kindle eBook, präsentieren zu dürfen. Ich hoffe, es wird Ihnen gefallen.
