From the 5th to the 8th of May, 2016, took place at the Colmar’s Parc des Expositions, the Trade Fair Eco Bio Alsace 2016. The atmosphere was nice, and like the French say: “bon enfant”. I also had the privilege to discuss with a fellow countryman about yesterday’s values.                                                                                     Among the firms I had the chance to meet for you and for this article:   The soap factory SAPONAIRE from Monflanquin in France, and managed by Anja Canaux.   Jardin Gourmand from Lalaye in France, managed by Gérard Verret, with whom I had a great conversation about his original gastronomic creations, and according to me, enchanting, because they took me to another fantasy world.   The firm SolAlter from Laurac in France, created by Monsieur Tomas Landazuri, and thanks to this firm, I discovered the whole sugar cane « Panela », coming from a sugar cane grown without either “chemical fertilizers” nor “insecticides.”   The association Robin des Bois, association for human and environmental protection, in the XIXth arrondissement of Paris in France, had on display during the Colmar’s Eco Bio Alsace 2016 Trade Fair, biological jojoba oil, an oil with a very beautiful sunny colour.   The Farm du Pescher from Omblèze in France had also on display wonderful bonbons from the good old days, “en plaques cassées”. Thanks to Monsieur Franck Fayolles for the explanations.   The artist Philippe Bray had also on display wonderful wooden sculptures of his, for more information, the site L’Effet Papillon.   The cooperative bibol from Apremont in France presented a beautiful line of bamboo plates, bowls, cups, cutlery, spice boxes, trays, …, «without solvents, nor volatile organic compounds. »   The firm CLOT François, from La Baume d’Hostun in France, manufacturing canned fruit and jams.   For the Eco Bio Alsace 2016 Trade Fair, there were 45 000 visitors, and 523 exhibitors from various backgrounds:   Agriculture, Alimentation, Wine, Drinks, Associations, Bakery, Sweets, Publishers, Book Shops, Press, Energy, Housing, Decoration, Fabric Fibers, Hygiene, Health, Restaurant owners, Catering, Animation, Services.   Thanks to all of you, and to the Eco Bio Alsace 2016 Trade Fair for those unforgettable moments.   ©2016 Teddy Crispin   Photo : Huile de Jojoba Biologique de l'Association Robin des Bois. From April 7th to April 10th, 2016 took place the Music Trade Fair 2016 of the Messe Frankfurt. This year, the Music Trade Fair 2016 of the Messe Frankfurt stretched itself from Hall 8 to 11. A setback in comparison with the previous years, it seems.   I visited the Music Trade Fair 2016 of the Messe Frankfurt, on Saturday, April 9th, 2016. What a sadness, what a quietness, … Not that much crowded in visitors, and some disappointed visitors because of the low attendance rate of the visitors for the Music Trade Fair 2016 of the Messe Frankfurt.   Among the exhibitors, the St. Petersburg Musical Wind Instruments Factory from Russia, and the Manifatture Fuselli from Recanati in Italy, a manufacturer of bags and straps to music instruments.   On Sunday, April 10th, 2016 at the Congress Center of the Messe Frankfurt, the great Al Jarreau will perform along with the Hessischer Rundfunk Big Band.   And speaking of music, an exquisite Christmas album has just fallen from the sky into my open arms. One of these hidden gems and wonders, unknown to the « main stream », and to the public. An exquisite Christmas album that is « out of the box » from the American singer Ken Norris, an album entitled : …in the Spirit of Christmas : musical landscape for choir and small ensemble.   In this exquisite Christmas album of great beauty, from the American singer Ken Norris, the Christmas classics : I Saw Three Ships, O Holy Night, Silent Night…, are to be found, but also gems from the master himself : « Perfect Inheritance (Shout to the Fields) » and « Perfect Inheritance II (Amen) ».   The exquisite «…in the Spirit of Christmas», from the American singer Ken Norris, succeeds because those Christmas songs are arranged with a timeless soul music flair that is for all seasons.   « …in the Spirit of Christmas », from the American singer Ken Norris, a first rate album, hidden from the mass media and the public, a gem that you have to add to your record shelves.   According to the Messe Frankfurt, there were 2 043 exhibitors from 60 countries, for the trade shows Musikmesse and Prolight + Sound 2016.   And nearly 110 000 visitors from 130 countries, for the trade shows Musikmesse and Prolight + Sound 2016.   The next Messe Frankfurt Music Trade Fair and the next trade show Salon Prolight + Sound 2017 will be held, according to the Messe Frankfurt, in April 2017.   ©2016 Teddy Crispin

From March 30th to April 4th,  2014 took place at the Messe Frankfurt in Germany, the Light + Building trade fair.   A trade fair with everything dealing with light, electrical engineering, automatic and technical management of buildings, the use of software in the latter, …   According to the Messe Frankfurt, 2 458 exhibitors took part in the Light + Building trade fair 2014, a trade fair with a surface of 245 000 square meters.     211 500 visitors from 161 countries graced the Light + Building trade fair 2014 with their presence, with a great participation of visitors from Italy, the Netherlands, France, China and Austria.   A young Czech designer Tadeás Podracký with his colleague Markéta Kratochvílová had on display during the Light + Building trade fair 2014 their original lamps.   Also present at the trade fair, the firm Asfour Crystal from Cairo in Egypt with its beautiful  collection of glass crystals for chandeliers, curtains, …   And the firm KOLARZ GmbH from Breitenfurt bei Wien in Austria.   The next Light + Building trade fair will be held between March 13th and March 18th, 2016.   ©2014 Teddy Crispin
